It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 8th International Conference on Behavioral Addictions (ICBA 2023) which will be held from August 23 to 25, 2023, at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Korea.

In 2011, the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Addiction (ISSBA) launched the Journal of Behavioral Addictions, which now became a prestigious scientific journal in the addiction field. Over the last 10 years, ICBA attracted researchers, clinicians, social workers, and others from all around the world. Participants were satisfied with not only remarkable academic programs but also with the friendly and open communication among the participants.

ICBA 2023 is the official conference of the ISSBA(International Society for the Study of Behavioral Addictions) co-organized with the KAAP(Korean Academy of Addiction Psychiatry). KAAP will do its best to provide a comfortable conference and a variety of unique interesting social programs in the beautiful city of Incheon. We hope that ICBA 2023 will be a memorable trip for all.

We look forward to welcoming everyone who is interested in behavioral addiction to the 8th ICBA 2023 from all corners of the world and beyond. We wish to have you here in our beautiful port city!

Cancellation Policy
- Please note that 50% of the registration fee will be refunded if canceled officially before 16 June 2023.
- We can make 30% refund before the 14 of July.
- No refund is possible if cancellation is made at a later date.

Visa and covid-19 information

All foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport and some visitors must obtain a Korea visa before departure. Below are 99 countries whose citizens may temporarily enter without a visa according to visa exemption agreements or in accordance with principles reciprocity or national interest.

K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

You must apply for the K-ETA at least 72 hours before boarding the flight or ship bound for the Republic of Korea. Once you have been approved, the K-ETA is valid for two years.The K-ETA is not a VISA. K-ETA approval does not guarantee admission to the Republic of Korea; a Korea Immigration Service officer at a port of entry will have the final determination.
K-ETA authorization is generally valid for multiple trips over a period of two years of until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
You can get the results by email within 72 hours after submitting the K-ETA application
If you submit false information on the K-ETA application, the K-ETA approval will be refused or cancelled. You also may by subject to penalties or face entry restriction according to relevant Korean laws. Please re-check your information and correct any mistakes before submitting your application.
